Regarding FSP eligibility, grant disbursement, and confidentiality of personal information:
Recent blog and Facebook comments and suggestions about this subject compel me to share this information with you and to defend the integrity of this ministry.
Reece’s Rainbow has never and will never ask you for sensitive personal information such as your social security number or bank account information. There is no reason for us to have this. Any suggestion that we do is completely false. Our grant disbursements are done in one or more of four ways:
2) For outstanding agency fees (paid directly to the adoption agency on your behalf)
3) Via Paypal (with no fees, and your banking information always remains private in Paypal transactions, that is the whole purpose of Paypal)
4) Via check mailed to your home which you deposit yourself.
Unless you are living abroad and can only recv funds through an actual bank transfer/wire, Reece’s Rainbow does not and will not ask you for sensitive identifying information such as SSN or bank account info. Your home study and adoption agencies may require this information, but Reece’s Rainbow does not. Even if it is included in a copy of your home study report that may be shared with our dossier prep team, this information would never be shared with anyone. Reece’s Rainbow functions under only the highest ethical standards, and only requests information from you which directly pertains to your eligibility for grant disbursement and qualifications to adopt a child internationally.
